About TimeSaver Wine
We build one tool and we build it well: the fastest way to answer βhow long until this bottle is perfect?β
Our mission
Great wine is ruined quietly β a Sauvignon Blanc poured at fridge-numbing 35 Β°F, a Cabernet served at a sweltering 74 Β°F. The fix takes minutes, but almost nobody knows how many. That's the gap TimeSaver Wine was built to close.
Our wine chilling & aeration calculator turns three things you already know β the wine style, roughly how cold the bottle is, and how you plan to chill it β into one precise answer, backed by Newton's Law of Cooling and the serving-temperature standards used by sommeliers worldwide. Then it runs a countdown timer with a chime at zero, so the freezer never claims another cork.
What we believe
Tools, not walls
No accounts, no paywalls, no email gates. You arrive, you calculate, you pour. That's the whole business model for your attention.
Physics over folklore
βHalf an hour in the freezerβ is folklore. Exponential cooling curves calibrated to real bottles and real appliances are physics. We publish our methods so you can check our math.
Wine knowledge is for everyone
You don't need a cellar or a sommelier certificate to serve wine the way the winemaker intended β just a timer and a thermometer you don't even have to own.
How the site is funded
TimeSaver Wine is free because it's supported by clearly-labelled advertising. We don't sell products, we don't take wine-industry payments for coverage, and the calculator's results are never influenced by anyone. You can read exactly what we do (and don't) collect in our privacy policy.
